'Arrest Imminent,' Police Say After Area Stabbing Victim Hospitalized

Beacon Police say an "investigation is ongoing and an arrest is imminent" after a victim was stabbed earlier this week.

At around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, City of Beacon Police officers were dispatched to the area of 455 Main Street for a report of a man with a stab wound. 

An investigation determined that the incident occurred further down on the East End of Main Street, police said.

The victim was transported by Beacon Volunteer Ambulance to an area hospital for treatment for a non-life-threatening stab wound to the leg. 

Police announced an arrest is imminent late Friday night, Aug. 9.
